"Terrível"

Boijmans TV is a new programme about art and takes us on a journey in Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We not only meet an artist, but also museum visitors, the guards, a tour guide and the employee of the technical service is a perfect location for a television programme about the many faces of art. This second episode of Boijmans TV is called Mooi Lelijk ('Beautiful Terrible'). Museum guard Arie does not understand that artist Lily van der Stokker want to make art that she calls 'Terrible'. Museum Boijmans van Beuningen is producing its own television series together with RTV Rijnmond, Popov film and RO Theater . In Boijmans TV, the museum building provides a changing backdrop three main characters: a major work from the collection, a high profile artist exhibiting in Boijmans museum and a museum visitor who has the illusion of being in a different world.

The series is being broadcast weekly from 14 April 2010 by the regional television station RTV Rijnmond.
